I am a juried artist at the Tallgrass Art Gallery and a member of the Frankfort Art Association.

I like to paint in a realistic manner and incorporate a variety of subjects including animals, people working in their everyday jobs and scenes from my travels. I spend a lot of time studying my subject so that I can accurately render it on a canvas. I observe how light hits the subject and causes variations in the color.

When I paint, I am so focused on what I am doing that I forget all of life’s other concerns.
